PPP terrorists open fire: 4 activists of JSSF injured

Four activists of Jeay Sindh Students’ Federation (JSMM) were wounded when they were attacked by armed activists of Peoples students Federation, a student wing of Pakistan Peoples’ Party Parliamentarian. One student Sadam Jatoi got serious wounds when the bullet fired by the attackers hit his neck. Chairman JSSF (JSMM) Mr. Hafeez Pirzado condemned the incident.

Attackers planned this attack after a massive rally of JSSF (All Groups) on the occasion of admission test of bachelors program at university of Sindh. Armed men belonging to PSF (Baghi) committed a casual assault over JSSF (JSMM) activists when they were returning from the main campus of University of Sindh to their hostels leaving four people injured. One of them Sadam Jatoi student of fourth year of BS- Botany got serious wounds as bullet hit his neck rigorously. He was transferred to Agha Khan Hospital after getting first aid at Civil Hospital Hyderabad.  His condition is still critical and he is standing on verge of life and death.

Three other students Zaheer Ahmed, Muhammad Sami and Irfan Ali got bullet wounds on their legs and are admitted to Civil Hospital Hyderabad.

An atmosphere of fear has hit whole the University and many students left hostels for their homes. Rangers took over the control of University but none of the culprits was arrested still.

While JSSF (JSMM) condemned the incident and appealed the students to not to evacuate hostels and continue their studies as academic environment will remain normal. JSSF (JSMM) announced ban on the entry of all the members of terrorist organisation the PSF (Baghi) in the university onward. If any one of them tries to enter university will be held responsible for his fate himself.

In an emergent statement issued by Chairman JSSF (JSMM) Mr. Hafeez Pirzado he declared the incident as pre-planned conspiracy hatched by State institutions and University Administration to weaken JSSF (JSMM) because of her healthy and positive mode of politics that confront their conspiracy of devastating the education and rights of Sindhi students.

He said that culprits were wage-bearers of state and University administration. He condemned the incident strongly and vowed to continue their peaceful student struggle for the freedom and rights of Sindhi students and nation as well.

It should be remembered that JSSF (JSMM) activist Babar Sandelo was killed in a same type of assault by PSF (S.B) on Feb 10th 2011.
